I have always loved Val Kilmer but wasn’t expecting this doco to bring me to tears. It is an intimate and honest look into not just Val’s acting career but life, successes and hardships. It is both contemplative and inspirational and I now feel like I know the man personally somehow while also having been tenderly reminded about the highs and lows of the human condition, itself. My favourite quote: “Here on Earth, the difference between heaven and hell is the distance between faith and doubt.”
