Alex leaves Jo at a psychiatric facility for her 30-day stay, and she tells him that he can leave her if he wants because they are not legally married. Miranda after she fired Meredith, Alex and Richard due to criminal activity learns that Tom is put in charge of all Catherine Fox Foundation Hospitals. Andrew returns back to work, while Teddy has a difficult time with her new-born baby and even though Owen tries to help her, she doesn't appreciate his effort. Meredith is sentenced to community work, and the board is going to pursue action against her medical licence. Jackson and Maggie break up, and he meets a paramedic, Vic, and they start spending time together. Owen decides to list his house and stay with Teddy, while Amelia finds out that she may be pregnant. After Richard's suggestion, he and Alex decide to work for PacNorth.
