Follow the Australasian Safari competitors as they tackle seven adrenaline fitted days in one of the toughest motor-sport adventures in the Asian-Pacific region.

The 29th running of the Australasian Safari was a true test of endurance for the hundred entrants, with 3,200kms of gruelling Western Australian outback terrain standing between them and the finish line. Dust storms, cattle, mud, ruts, river crossings and narrow tracks are all commonplace obstacles to be conquered on Safari.

After converging at Wanneroo Showgrounds for the pre-event formalities, the 2014 event started with the Prologue course in the port city of Geraldton.

From Geraldton the competitors journeyed inland, encountering the harsh desert surrounding Murchison and Gascoyne Junction on Leg's One, Two and Three.

Leg Four and Five saw the landscape change to a coastal flavour, as competition moved to areas in and around the picturesque town of Exmouth.

The coastal backdrop continued for the penultimate Leg, with weary competitors racing south to tropical Carnarvon.

The event's final test subjected competitors and their machines to the lot--from twists and turns, to fast straights, solid rock, sand, pindan, mud and corrugated tracks. At the end of the Leg was the reward of the finish line for those remaining.

The 2014 Australasian Safari was a tight race, down to the last Leg. The victorious took to the podium in Kalbarri to celebrate. The outright winners were:
